Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: June 2026

1. Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) applies to everyone who uses Vixal, including content you generate, prompts you submit, and assets you upload. It supplements — and is incorporated into — our Terms of Service.

Violations may result in content removal, account suspension or termination without refund, and where required, reporting to law enforcement.

2. Prohibited Content

You may not use Vixal to generate, request, upload, host, or distribute content that:

• Sexualizes or depicts minors in any way, including AI-generated CSAM. We have zero tolerance and report violations to NCMEC and law enforcement.

• Depicts a real, identifiable person (including public figures) in a sexual, intimate, nude, or sexually suggestive context without their explicit consent (non-consensual intimate imagery / NCII).

• Impersonates a real person, brand, or organization in a way intended to deceive, defraud, defame, or harass.

• Constitutes synthetic media of political candidates, government officials, or election processes intended to mislead voters.

• Promotes, incites, or glorifies violence, terrorism, self-harm, suicide, eating disorders, or hate against protected groups.

• Infringes copyright, trademark, publicity, or other intellectual property rights — including unauthorized recreation of copyrighted characters, logos, or trademarked likenesses.

• Depicts realistic graphic violence, gore, or animal cruelty for shock value.

• Facilitates illegal activity, fraud, scams, malware, phishing, or the sale of regulated goods (weapons, drugs, etc.).

• Contains sexually explicit material, including pornography, regardless of whether the subjects are AI-generated.

3. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract underlying model weights or training data from the platform.

• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of Vixal or its infrastructure except through our coordinated disclosure channel (hello@vixal.app).

• Use Vixal to build a competing AI video generation product, or resell raw API access.

• Bypass rate limits, credit accounting, or share an account across multiple users.

• Use automated means to create accounts, generate content at scale, or evade content filters.

4. Content You Generate

You are the author and publisher of the prompts you submit and the outputs you choose to download, share, or publish.

You warrant that you have the rights necessary to use any references, names, or descriptions in your prompts, and that the resulting content does not infringe third-party rights or violate this AUP.

Vixal applies safety filters at the model and platform level, but no filter is perfect. Final responsibility for use of generated content rests with you.

5. AI Disclosure

Content generated by Vixal is synthetic media. You agree to disclose AI-generated content as required by the platforms you publish to (YouTube, TikTok, Meta, X, etc.) and by applicable law (e.g. EU AI Act transparency obligations).

Vixal output is not a substitute for professional advice — including medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice — and must not be presented as such.

6. Reporting Abuse

To report content that violates this AUP, email hello@vixal.app with the URL, a description of the violation, and your contact information. We review reports within 5 business days.

To report copyright infringement specifically, use the process in our DMCA Policy.

For suspected CSAM, you may also report directly to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children at CyberTipline.org.

7. Enforcement

We may, at our sole discretion: remove content, suspend or terminate accounts, withhold or revoke credits, restrict access to features, and report violations to third parties (platform partners, payment processors, law enforcement).

Severe violations — including CSAM, NCII, threats of violence, or fraud — result in immediate termination without refund.

8. Changes

We may update this AUP as our platform and the legal landscape evolve. Continued use of Vixal after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
